Independent and Australia-wide

Your search is submitted through an established Australian property-data provider with access to Landgate's records — Western Australia's own government land information authority. You receive the current registry information returned for your search — not information scraped from property-listing sites.

WA title searches are $89.95, always — no quote forms, no surprise fees at checkout.

Order as a guest — enter the details, pay, and your document is emailed to you.

Most WA title searches are delivered within minutes to a few hours once payment clears.

TitleNow isn't Landgate itself — we're an independent service giving you a faster, more transparent way to order what the registry holds, across all 8 states and territories.

WA FAQ

  • A Certificate of Title shows the property's registered ownership and interests recorded against the land. A Property Interest Report (PIR) complements the title by identifying known interests from other government and private sources — things that affect how the property can be used or developed but aren't recorded on the title itself. TitleNow currently provides Certificate of Title and Plan/Survey searches; contact us if you need guidance on whether a PIR applies to your situation.

  • Your search is submitted against current land-title records when you order, so the document reflects the registry information returned at that time.

  • Yes. TitleNow can provide title searches for properties across Western Australia, including Perth metropolitan, regional, and remote areas, where the property is recorded in Landgate's land titles register.

  • Yes. The Certificate of Title remains the official record of land ownership in Western Australia and is held digitally within Landgate's land titles register. What changed on 7 August 2023 was the abolition of the Duplicate Certificate of Title — the separate paper copy sometimes held by an owner or lender. A Record of Certificate of Title provides a current copy of the information recorded on the official title.

  • A current Record of Certificate of Title can be used as evidence of land ownership for a WA owner-builder approval application (Form 75). Current WA Government guidance states that, where a Certificate of Title is provided as proof of ownership, the Record must have been issued by Landgate within three months of the application date. Other forms of evidence, such as a qualifying Contract to Purchase, may also be accepted depending on your circumstances.

  • Yes. A current Record of Certificate of Title shows the information currently recorded against the property. Historical information — such as previous ownership or past dealings — may require other Landgate records depending on the age and type of title; contact us if you need guidance on what's available for a specific property.
